Frequently asked questions

Where do you work / what areas do you cover?

I travel a lot for work with most jobs being London based. Most of my clients are in Islington, Clerckenwell, Holbron, Bloomsbury and the City. I live in north London and this allows easy access to Hertfordshire  too.

How soon can we have the images?

If you have a tight deadline, let me know and can often turnover shoots on the same day if necessary.
As a guideline weddings take 3 weeks for digital copies.
Portraits can take 24-72 hours.  I try to get the photos to you as soon as possible, without sacrificing quality.

How much does a shoot cost?

Fees depend on time spent before, during and after the shoot and also on the intended usage. As a general guide day rates start from £599. Weekends are typically 10% more and Weddings are usually more as they involve more work before and after the shoot.
I also have an hourly rate.
I’m always happy to discuss client’s budgets and needs and you can contact me directly here.

What Payment methods do you accept?

I take cash, Paypal bank transfers. An invoice will be issued for each job.

Do you photograph weddings?

Yes. I’ve photographed many weddings over the years. While most of the couples come through word of mouth I do get frequent enquiries and am always happy to discuss wedding plans in person. You can view my wedding photography page here.

We need some shots in Black & White, is that possible?

Very much so. A lot of work is delivered in black and white. With digital cameras the shots are captured in colour and are later converted and delivered to you in B&W. It is always a good idea to let me know in advance about your preferences.

Last minute bookings – can you take on a shoot for tomorrow?

Having worked in this industry for many years I am accustomed to last minute bookings. This would of course depend on my schedule. I also work with other photographers so if I will suggest a colleague.

Do you provide hair and make up?

I work with some amazing hair and make up artists. This can be discussed prior to the shoot so I can book the artist most suited for the job.

How do we confirm a booking?

Bookings are usually confirmed by paying a deposit. I will send an invoice for a deposit with details of the shoot. This will usually be a sum between £50-£300.
